Mark Morabito is a dynamic entrepreneur and business leader with over 20 years of experience in business and capital markets.

Known for his ability to see opportunity where others see risk, he has raised more than
US$1.5 billion throughout his career.

Early Career

Mark began his career as a corporate finance and securities lawyer in Toronto and Vancouver. After eight years of practicing law, he transitioned to the client side of the table, where his leadership helped guide two mining companies from startup on the TSX Venture Exchange to full NYSE listings.

Resource Development Achievements

As President and CEO of King & Bay West Merchant Bank, a Vancouver-based Canadian merchant bank, Mark has focused on identifying, funding, developing, and growing business opportunities. King & Bay West specializes in enhancing value for its portfolio of both public and private companies.

Merchant Banking & Leadership

Mark has played a pivotal role in several successful resource development ventures. A career highlight includes securing a $400 million agreement with HBIS Group, then China’s largest steel producer, at Alderon Iron Ore.

CURRENT FOCUS : INTREPID METALS CORP.

Mark’s latest endeavor,
Intrepid Metals Corp., is advancing the Corral Copper and Silver Project in southeastern Arizona. The project consolidates key land positions and leverages more than 50,000 meters of historical drilling data alongside modern exploration methods. Plans include a 30-hole drill program covering up to 6,000 meters to confirm historical data, extend mineralization depth, and explore new targets along the trend.
