Mark Morabito is a dynamic entrepreneur and business leader with a proven knack for seeing opportunity. His career spans over 20 years in business and capital markets, with a strong focus on junior mining and extensive experience in merchant banking and corporate development. Over the course of his career, Mark has raised over US$1 billion.

Mark’s career began as a corporate finance and securities lawyer practicing in Toronto and Vancouver. After eight years of hard work, he transitioned to the client side of the table. His career has seen him lead two mining companies from initial startup on the TSX Venture Exchange to full NYSE listings.

As the President and CEO of King & Bay West Merchant Bank, a Vancouver-based Canadian merchant bank, Mark has focused on identifying, funding, developing, and emerging business opportunities. The company specializes in enhancing value to its growing portfolio of noteworthy public and private companies.

Mark has also played a pivotal role in several successful resource development companies. His notable accomplishment includes securing a $400 million agreement with HBIS Group, at the time China’s largest steel producer, at Alderon Iron Ore.

His latest endeavor, Intrepid Metals Corp., aims to develop the Corral Copper and Silver project in the Tombstone area of southeastern Arizona. This ambitious project consolidates key land positions and utilizes over 50,000 meters of historical drilling data and modern exploration techniques to move toward development stage and feasibility level studies. Intrepid Metals plans to conduct a 30-hole drill program and up to 6,000 meters of drilling to confirm historical data, extend the depth and projection of mineralization, and explore untested areas within the mineralized trend.
